New Executive Director to Take Ministry to Next Level
Monday, April 11, 2022 by Peter F. Schnatz DO

Dear FaithCare Partners:

I am delighted to announce that the FaithCare Board of Directors has unanimously approved the appointment of Mrs. Krystl D. Gauld as our new Executive Director. Krystle’s initial efforts will be to further develop FaithCare Inc’s Reading, PA clinic, oversee the expanded medical services at our new hospital in Nigeria, and other opportunities to bring Health, Hope, and Healing.

“FaithCare consistently serves thousands of patients on international medical missions,” she shared, “and we look forward to making a similar and significant impact right here in the northeast.”

Krystl joins the FaithCare team with 8 years of non-profit management experience and a strong track record of growth acceleration, non-profit strategy, and business transformation.

Krystl has already demonstrated her non-profit leadership abilities in 2 prior positions. She served as Executive Director for Dignity Housing in Philadelphia, as well as the Delaware County Pregnancy Center. In both positions she was responsible for building the brand, implementing the mission and values of the organization as well as fundraising functions and overall leadership development of her staff. Her financial turnaround and organizational transformation of DCPC's free medical center staffed with volunteer doctors and medical professionals is a testament to her strong passion and vision for uplifting underserved populations, particularly uninsured and underinsured families.

Krystal holds an M.S. in Counseling from Cairn University and a B.A. in English from Rutgers University. She is close to completing her Th.D. in Trauma & Transformation from Evangelical Seminary in Myerstown, Pennsylvania. Krystl and her husband Damian live in Upper Darby, PA

“Hope for those who need it the most in the northeast, as well as in developing countries, gets a major boost with FaithCare,” Krystl says, “And I am excited to be a part of a ministry that models itself after the preaching, teaching, and healing ministries of Jesus Christ.” News is spreading about the health clinic in Reading that indiscriminately meets both medical and spiritual needs. The clinic has seen a steady increase in new patient visits. Currently, the clinic serves a broad range of patients including many women and children. The clinic is currently accepting new patients and, by mid-year plans to expand clinic hours to at least three days a week. This will increase community access to affordable, holistic, and quality health care services, including education for the prevention of disease.

Krystl comes at a critically important time, as we are finishing our Nigeria hospital building project and are ready to expand FaithCare’s Reading Clinic to serve more of the neediest patients from the inner city in Reading and other chapter locations.” Krystl plans to begin her FaithCare journey by getting to know YOU.. our partners, volunteers, staff, and our Church community. Please welcome her when she reaches out to you to get connected.

Krystle’s experience, energy and strong faith has already brough a breath of fresh air to all of us on the Board. Please join me in welcoming her to FaithCare as we look to partner together to bring Health, Hope, and Healing to those who need it the most.

In closing, please prayerfully consider encouraging Krystl with a special tax-deductible gift that can be made online or mail a check to FaithCare; 621 Centre Avenue, Reading, PA 19610

Bringing Health, Hope, and Healing,
