Community Outreach

Did You Know: Many Patients Want Their Physician Or Care Provider To Address Spiritual Issues?

FaithCare is a ministry of encouragement to medical professionals, medical students, resident doctors, and non-medical volunteers interested in meeting the physical and spiritual health needs of disadvantaged people. Our local chapters provide approaches to medical issues and health-related topics from a spiritual perspective and offer space for individuals to fellowship and share experiences and ideas as they relate to their faith.

Since 1994, FaithCare’s focus remains the same: empower healthcare communities to generously meet health and wellness needs that would go otherwise unmet through local outreach.

Across the world, FaithCare volunteers are impacting their community by welcoming and creating more health access for needy families. Chapter-led wellness programs consist of free health clinics and pop-up health events in partnership with local churches and community organizations. Our volunteer team of doctors, nurses, language interpreters, and non-medical volunteers provides general health care, preventive health screening, as well as education on nutrition and prevalent health-related topics.

Inspired by Luke 9:2, FaithCare, Inc integrates faith and healthcare by tending to both the physical and spiritual needs of patients. We envision a transformation of healthcare through our faith-based medical professional training programs and strategic partnerships with Faith institutions, health organizations, and international communities. Although FaithCare volunteers provide our patients with life-saving medical and spiritual care, they too have life-changing experiences.
